President Bush recently announced a plan to grant amnesty to as many as 10,000,000 people living and working in the United States illegally. Contrary to what he is saying, the President's "guest worker" program is, indeed, amnesty for illegal aliens! Please read CFIF's petition calling on the President and all 535 Member of Congress to abandon any plans to give amnesty to illegal aliens. One of the things that has made America the world's greatest country is that we are a mix of many races, religions and backgrounds. We are a mix of many cultures - and America is stronger because of it. But we are a nation of laws. And those people who have crossed our borders and are in our country illegally should be punished, not rewarded with green cards! Please fill in the form below to add your electronic signature and make your voice heard. We're seeking thousands of signatures from concerned Americans across the country. Dear President Bush and Members of Congress: We are writing to express our concern and anger over the proposed "guest worker" program that would amount to a massive grant of amnesty for as many as 10,000,000 illegal aliens. That could lead to a surge of illegal immigration, encouraging tens of millions more to come over illegally expecting to receive amnesty also. Most do not speak English, and we are concerned that America will soon become two separate countries culturally - speaking different languages. Meanwhile, pro-immigration political forces are increasing their demand that illegal aliens be given special rights such as driver's licenses, free public education, free medical care, voting rights and more. Most importantly, liberal amnesty policies make us vulnerable to tens of thousands of terrorists who want to enter the U.S. to harm Americans - and to destroy America if they can. As a result, we, the undersigned, respectfully insist that Congress protect America and enforce our laws by punishing those who cross illegally rather than rewarding them with amnesty. Respectfully signed, |
