This booklet seeks to answer this seemingly simple question by offering the historical, sociological and empirical apologetic for biblical marriage and its profound role in civil society and the Church. In a time when attempts to radically redefine and/or abolish the biblical standard for marriage, it is imperative that Christians first understand and demonstrate God’s principles for marriage while also working to defend these principles in an intelligent and persuasive way for all people since God says that marriage is to be honored by all. This booklet offers a rational argument for condemning any attempt to redefine marriage. This 16-page booklet discusses the true meaning of marriage as the cornerstone of moral and social order. If offers a thoughtful rationale for debating same-sex marriage and defending traditional marriage.
